Replacing Subaru lens, lens removal and assembly

These parts are pricey.   The lens alone would set you back by P3,000+ and the whole assembly by P40,000.

I got interested in this because water entered the headlight assembly of the subaru forester we had.   You have to find the tabs, remove the front grille and bumper, then you can remove the headlight assembly.

To remove the lens from the plastic body you can do:   1.   use a blowtorch (or hair blower) to soften the plastic   2   invent an oven (a box where you blow in the hot air for 15-30 minutes.

Carefully remove the plastic, clean the interior and polish.   You should watch the Pakistani craftsmen do this the lens cleaning
